Dan Harary founded The Asbury PR Agency in 1996, after 20+ years of Public Relations experience while working across all facets of the Entertainment Industry.
Prior to Asbury PR, Harary had formerly served as EVP w/ The Lippin Group, handling TV series, major Production companies, and New Media ventures. Working as Lee Solters' Sr. Publicist at Solters / Roskin / Friedman PR, Harary was West Coast Publicist for Jay Leno / "The Tonight Show," and also represented comedy icon Sid Caesar and National Lampoon Magazine. He was also a Sr. Publicist w/ Columbia Pictures Television, helmed The Playboy Channel's first PR department, and was The American Film Institute's first Director of Campus Information.
Holding a B.S. Degree in Communications from Boston University, Dan is a native of Asbury Park, New Jersey. There, he ran Lighting & Stage Crew at a local concert hall, working with Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, and KISS. He resides in Beverly Hills.
